A Message to Our Community:
This is a painful time for our country, as the senseless death of George Floyd and many others amplify the racial prejudice, discrimination and injustice that exists today.
At CKE Restaurants, we are committed to diversity, fair treatment and fostering an environment that celebrates different genders, sexual orientations, beliefs and races, especially in support of the Black community and people of color. Operating and franchising Carl's Jr. and Hardee's restaurants in nearly all corners of the world, we employ and serve people of all ages, ethnicities, backgrounds and beliefs. We celebrate this diversity and our company is made up of people who look, think and are different!
We are taking this opportunity to listen, learn and act. We acknowledge that it is crucial we advance dialogue on how best to bring our communities together, embrace our differences, and together be agents of positive change.
At CKE, we are in a unique position to make a difference and I am committed to ensuring that we continue to be a welcoming place that champions inclusion and diversity.
Everyone should be treated with dignity and respect, which is not only our expectation, but a fundamental right.
-Ned Lyerly, CEO, CKE Restaurants
